The ASICS Metaracer is a carbon-plate running shoe with supported by low-density midsole foam and wrapped in an unstructured, light upper. With its low-stack midsole and minimalist upper, the Metaracer is strictly for running flat and straight road racers. The focus of the design makes this thoroughbred limited in its applications, but excellently optimized for its racing purpose.
