In collaboration with Japanese-American designer Mikka Kei Ito Macdonald of Akai Ito, the Pacers spring apparel capsule is a celebration of DC's annual rite of spring: the blooming of the cherry blossoms.
Originally given to the US by Japan in 1912, the blossoms from the cherry trees are a reminder of the passing of seasons, the vitality of spring, and the endurance of friendship.

The Pacers Spring 2026 Cherry Blossom collection was designed by Mikka Kei Macdonald of Akai lto Design in conjunction with Pacers Running.
Mikka is a runner, illustrator, tattoo designer, and Pacers Running Ambassador based in Washington, D.C.
Her art is inspired by running, freedom, and outdoor joy.
