Collection: Altra Vanish Carbon

The Altra Vanish Carbon is Altra's first crack at a carbon plate racing shoe, and they knocked it out of the park.

Like other super shoes, the Vanish Carbon is made of super-lightweight materials. These include an EVA-foam outsole, a TPE footbed ('EGO™ PRO'), and as little upper material as possible. Altra's carbon plate ('Carbitex') is excellent and adds significant bounce to every step, easily achieving its purpose to help you ring up the miles.

What is different about the Vanish Carbon is that it is a zero drop (or "balanced cushioning") racing shoe. Serious racers will be familiar with this geometry and now have a leader in zero drop shoes providing an excellent zero drop carbon plate shoe for race day.

Altra's Vanish Carbon is an excellent entrance into the carbon plate racing shoe scene, and you can expect this shoe to win a lot of races in the coming years.
