Join the Crystal City BID and Pacers Running Stores every Friday in April at 6:30PM for one of the most popular and fun 5k races in the metro area! Racers will run a professionally timed and certified course along a fast and fun route through Crystal City! Be brave and run all four – competing each week to beat your previous time and start your weekends off with a Fit start!

Go Red with us at the final 5K Friday, April 26! Guys and gals, come dressed in your best red dress to show your support for the American Heart Association – Greater Washington Region and the Go Red for Women Campaign. Prizes are awarded to the fastest and best dressed man and woman.
Please note the race on the 19th DID go off without a hitch and was not canceled. There will be NO rain date of May 3. Thank you!

Packet Pick Up
New this year! Want to beat the pre-race packet pick up rush? Drop into our Pentagon Row location during normal business hours to pick up your bib. Bibs will be available starting this Thursday, April 4 and will be available for pick up throughout the series (if you are racing the complete series, please hold on to your bib as you will NOT receive a new bib each week). If you are picking up close to start time (on race day), please use the option below (under race day) to pick up your bib.
Race tees are complimentary for series registrants. Tees will be available for pick up beginning Monday, April 15 at our Pentagon Row location and will be available at the third and fourth race in the series. Any extra tees will be available for purchase for $20.
Race Day
The race starts and finishes at 2121 Crystal Drive. 2121 Crystal Drive is located between 20th and 23rd Streets in Crystal City.
Race Day Packet Pick Up
Packets will be available for pick up from 4:30pm-6:25pm the night of the race at 2121 Crystal Drive in Crystal City (near Chipotle). This is the Start and Finish line area. Your packet contains your bib number and your timing tag.
Bag Check
You will able to store your bags near Packet Pick Up at the Start/Finish area. Bag check is at your own risk (while there are volunteers near the bag check, it is unmanned) available from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Bags MUST be picked up no later than 8:00pm.
Shoe Lab
The popular Pacers Shoe Lab is back! Pacers Shoe Lab Technicians from Mizuno, Saucony and Newton will be on hand to prescribe the perfect lightweight racing shoe for channeling your inner speed demon. Don’t be shy, try a new shoe every week (and continue to PR, we know it’s in you).. Fall in love with a pair (or several?!), our shoe lab technicians will send you on your way with a prescription that can be filled at our Arlington (Clarendon) location. All you’ll need is your ID (you’ll swap your current kicks and your ID as collateral) and your sense of adventure. Here’s what you’ll find in the Shoe Lab:
- Mizuno: Evo Levitas, Evo Cursoris, Musha and Universe
- Saucony: Type A5 and Fastwitch
- Newton: Motion, Gravity and Distance
*Please note, Pacers Shoe Lab is weather permitting.
Timing
You will be assigned one bib. If you are running multiple races or are considering signing up for a future race, do not discard your bib and timing tag. These will be assigned to you for the duration of the event. Lost bibs and tags may be charged a fee and your cumulative time (race to race) will not be tracked.
Directions & Transportation
- The closest METRO stop is Crystal City. Exit at 18th Street and walk east towards Crystal Drive. Turn right (head south) until you reach 2121 Crystal Drive.
Parking
- There is parking available in various lots in Crystal City. See www.crystalcity.org for a listing of open garages.
Road Closures
- Roads in and around the course are closed from 6:15pm to 7:30pm the night of the event. View full list of road closures.

Join our friends at Mind Your Body Oasis for some post race stretching and rejuvenating! Mind Your Body Oasis will host a complimentary Yoga for Athletes class at 7:30PM!
Complimentary showers are available at Sport & Health located at 2231 Crystal Drive (around the corner from the start/finish line). Sport and Health will graciously remain open until 9PM for all race participants.
Hamburger Hamlet is proud to host our post race festivities! Food and beverage specials available for all race participants, volunteers, friends and family.
