What better way to celebrate Clarendon than a run down it’s most storied boulevard? Join us for the Clarendon Day 10K/5K & Kids Dash, the official kick off to the popular Clarendon Day Festival presented by the Clarendon Alliance. Easily one of the area’s fastest courses, this course takes runners along a foot tour of the eclectic neighborhoods along the orange line. Top off the race with a post-race party at Clarendon’s hometown watering hole, Whitlow’s on Wilson, and other great restaurants, pubs, and vendors.
Fastest downhill in metro DC! This fast course starts in the heart of Clarendon, goes out towards Memorial Bridge onto Route 110, and then returns to finish in Rosslyn.

Questions regarding Packet Pick Up? View our Event Policies. Quick answers:
-Yes, you can pick up for a friend (no ID or confirmation needed)
-When picking up packets you do not need an ID.
-Registration will remain open through race day but our tee shirt selection is “first register first serve”. That means if your register early you will have a better selection of tee sizes. We regret we will not place an additional order for tees post-race so register early to get your preferred size; if a size is not shown on our registration page then we do not have it available. We will, however, exchange tees after the race if sizes are available. We do not discount registration fees if tees not available. No tees for kids.
-Strollers and headphones are allowed just be aware of your surroundings.

Do the Double!
Each year, we have more and more crazy (in a good way!) runners who run both the 10K & 5K events.
This year we hope more of you attempt to run both races and to help we have added more time between the race starts (5K at 8AM and 10K at 9AM). Keep in mind that you have to get back up the hill to the 10K start and Metro is spotty, so plan accordingly. We will not hold the 10K start for late 5K runners and the line will promptly shut down at 9:05am.
You will receive ONE metro card near the finish line. If you are running the double your best bet is to walk (run/jog/sprint) back up the hill and save the metro card for when you finish the 10K. If you do not arrive by 9:05am we will be unable to accommodate you on the 10K course but will be happy to escort you to the Whitlow’s bar just a few steps from the start line.
There will be a bag check available next to registration. It will be open from 7:00am until 10:30am. Any items not claimed will be transferred to Pacers Arlington. Items left over two weeks will be discarded or given to charity. Leave at your own risk.
Bags will NOT be automatically transported to the finish line area. You will need to make your own arrangements to get your bags down to the finish line if you are not returning to the Clarendon area.
This event utilizes ChronoTrack timing. No tag = no time.
